Rev. James Mark Michael

Lead Candidate for Director of the future New Day Academy School of Technology, Environment, & Peace in India.

Rev. James Mark Michael, the youngest of 12 children, was born into a devout Christian family in Poonamallee, India. His father’s unwavering faith and dedication to serving God inspired Michael, despite the family’s struggles with poverty. As Psalm 34:17-18 says, “The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles.” However, Michael’s experiences with poverty and hardship led him astray, and he associated with gangsters in his youth.

A severe stomach ailment, chicken pox, and boils plagued Michael’s teenage years, causing immense pain. But God intervened. The night before his scheduled surgery, Michael’s father prayed for him, and he was miraculously healed. As Isaiah 53:5 says, “But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by whose wounds we are healed.”

This transformative experience drew Michael back to God. Michael accompanied his father on ministry trips and discovered God’s calling on his life. He surrendered to God’s will and began serving Him. As 2 Corinthians 5:17 says, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!”

Rev. Michael’s ministry has been marked by healings, miracles, signs, and wonders. He also possesses the gift of prophecy. Rev. Michael has traveled extensively throughout India, sharing the Gospel in remote villages and witnessing a remarkable harvest of souls.

Through Freedom in Christ Ministry, Rev. Michael continues as Senior Pastor to fulfill God’s vision, supported by his wife, Sister Annie Michael, and their children. His ministry encompasses various outreach programs, including Widows Care, Medical Camps, Educational Help, Mini Crusades, Gospel Outreach, Help for Destitute Women and Widows, Bible College, Church Planting, Help to Differently Abled People, and Gypsy Ministry.

As Philippians 4:13 says, “I can do all this through him who gives me strength.” Rev. Michael’s life is a testament to God’s transformative power, inspiring others to follow in his footsteps.

Rev. Michael is the lead candidate for Director of the future New Day Academy School of Technology, Environment, & Peace in India.
