Guiding Principles

New Day Schools is a subsidiary of Ascension Education Association(AEA). We affirms the following statement of faith, rooted deeply in our love for Jesus Christ and his teachings:

Statement of Faith

1. The Bible

We believe the Holy Bible, comprising the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. (2 Timothy 3:16, “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:”)

2. The Trinity

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son (Jesus Christ), and Holy Ghost. (1 John 5:7, “For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.”)

3. Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, born of a virgin, sinless, crucified for our sins, resurrected, and ascended to heaven. He is the only Savior and Lord. (John 14:6, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”)

4. Salvation

We believe salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ, who died for our sins and rose again, offering forgiveness and eternal life. (John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”)

5. The Holy Ghost

We believe the Holy Ghost indwells believers, empowering them to live a godly life, and equipping them for service. (John 14:26, “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”)

6. The Church

We believe the Church is the body of Christ, comprising all believers, with Jesus as its Head. (Ephesians 1:22, “And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,”)

Guiding Principles

honesty

Love and Compassion

We believe in loving our neighbors as ourselves, demonstrating compassion and kindness to all. (Mark 12:31, “And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.”)

Integrity and Excellence

We strive for excellence in all aspects of our ministry, doing everything with all our might. (Ecclesiastes 9:10, “Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might;”)

Inclusivity and Diversity

We embrace diversity, recognizing that all believers are one in Christ Jesus, regardless of background or status. (Galatians 3:28, “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.”)

Prayer and Dependence on God

We prioritize prayer, depending on God for guidance, wisdom, and strength. (1 Thessalonians 5:17, “Pray without ceasing.”)

Service and Empowerment

We aim to serve and empower others, using our gifts and talents to glorify God. (Ephesians 2:10, “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.”)
